We rebuild transmissions and engines in house, with four of our 21 service bays dedicated to transmission rebuilds. We can rebuild most transmissions in house, often for thousands less than the cost of buying a remanufactured replacement. Rebuilding also offers an alternative to taking a chance on a used salvage-yard transmission with an uncertain service history. Savings and rebuild suitability depend on the transmission and its condition. We also replace engines with used or remanufactured options.

Repairs using genuine dealer parts or aftermarket parts carry our 1-year / 12,000-mile warranty, including repairs to fleet vehicles.

USED & SALVAGE-YARD PARTS

6 Months On The Part Cost

We can source used parts from salvage yards. These parts carry a 6-month warranty covering the cost of the used part. Labor is not covered under this used-parts warranty.

USED ENGINE & TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT

6 Months: Limited Parts & Labor

Used engine and transmission removal and replacement carries a 6-month parts-and-labor warranty for internally lubricated components, under the coverage provided to us by the supplying vendor or salvage yard.

Oil leaks are not covered by the 6-month warranty.

Used engine and transmission coverage is the exception to the used-parts labor exclusion above. Used-parts warranties are separate from our 1-year / 12,000-mile coverage. Ask our team to explain the applicable coverage before your repair.

Towing & after-hours drop-off.

Shop towing is available only during business hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, and Saturday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Our towing service is available during business hours exclusively for vehicles coming to Quality Care Automotive for service or repair. We do not offer general towing for hire. Call our team for assistance bringing your vehicle to the shop.
