CAPABILITY WITH CONTEXT
Common transmission families
Examples of transmission families to discuss with our team—not a promise that every variation or CVT can be rebuilt in house.
GM & Chevrolet / GMC
4L60E, 4L65E, 4L80E, 6L80, 6L90, and later 8- and 10-speed applications. Diagnosis and the specific unit determine the repair approach.
Ford & Lincoln
4R70W, 4R75W, 4R100, 5R110, 6R80, 6R140, and 10R80 applications. Provide the year, model, engine, and symptoms when you call.
Ram & Allison applications
Ram 48RE, 68RFE, and 8-speed applications, along with Allison-equipped trucks. Unit identification and operating use guide the estimate.
Toyota, Nissan & Honda
Conventional automatic transmission service and repair options vary by application. Nissan and Honda CVTs require a separate assessment from conventional automatics.
Hyundai & Kia
Conventional automatic, dual-clutch, and CVT/IVT designs require different diagnostic and repair approaches. Ask about your exact application.
A clear distinction for CVTs
A CVT is not a conventional geared automatic. We assess the concern and available service, repair, or replacement options; in-house CVT rebuilding is not promised.
KNOW YOUR COVERAGE
Repairs backed
by clear terms.
Repairs using genuine dealer or aftermarket parts carry our 1-year / 12,000-mile warranty, including fleet vehicles. Ask our team about the coverage that applies to your repair.
Used parts have separate coverage. Used or salvage-yard parts have a 6-month warranty on the part cost, with labor excluded. Used engine and transmission replacement is the exception: 6-month limited parts-and-labor coverage for internally lubricated components, under the supplying vendor’s coverage. Oil leaks are excluded from that 6-month coverage.
